Gladio got his facial scar from protecting Noctis from a drunk citizen
It takes about 2 years for a scar to fully heal
Gladio’s 23 at the start of Final Fantasy XV
It takes about 6 months or so for a torso tattoo to completely heal
So doing the math….Gladio probably got his scar at 21? (Noctis being 18 or so, FYI legal drinking age in Japan is 20)….within the 5 years between Brotherhood and the start of XV Gladio got his Amicitia family “King’s Shield” tattoo (Clarus has the same one, Amicitia family tradition)…
He was doing all that training as a Crownsguard at the time, and he was bulking up/building muscle (Wait his tattoo would have stretched out if he was building muscle so then that means he got the tattoo pretty recently like at 22???)…..damn….I already respect him but thinking about it in this way, Gladio deserves more love.

I was inspired by a tweet showing Ignis with a FaceApp beard so I did this. I only have the “hipster” beard because all the other beard filters are premium 😂 I gave Ignis a beard in his noir attire with the hair down and this was the result.
