This is why we will never move forward. Okay, it is wrong but please, they’re humans, too. They aren’t animals, they have feelings. If you don’t like them for being different, I ask of you to treat them like human beings, treat them like how you’d want to be treated. I know how it felt to be bullied because I was a victim of discrimination. I wasn’t liked because I was not Malay enough, I was made fun of because I spoke mostly in English and my Malay sounded funny because I spoke with an accent. Think I like it when you make fun of my accent? I may laugh, yes, but it does not mean I like it. You don’t know how hateful I feel when you make fun of my Malay. 

So, if you want to treat people for being different like they are trash, keep in mind, they have feelings, too. Who are you to judge them? It is THEIR CHOICE, THEIR LIVES. Did they do anything to harm or dishonour YOUR personal life?

For the longest time, I have been keeping quiet about loving Boyzone because of the judgemental society around me. Yes, the late Stephen Gately was gay. So what? He was still a human being. He still had feelings, his family accepted him for who he was. Why should we not accept him?

This is why I lose faith in humanity. This is why I hate people. I guess you wouldn’t know how hurt it feels if you don’t experience it yourself.
