I’ve got 24 hours to get rid of this… bozo, or the entire scheme I’ve been setting up for 18 years goes up in smoke, and YOU ARE WEARING HIS MERCHANDISE?!
I am pretty sure some people who know me are wondering why have I been going missing as of late. I’ve been putting stuff into queue but I am not on personally.
Well, I’ve been busy.
The previous company I was working for was in trouble, so I had to go around looking for a job (but that won’t make me love motorcycles any less). I was the PR go-to person in the previous company but now, I am working, also as the PR person (and graphic designer) in a political service centre.
Am I happy? Well, I am content that I’ve got a job. It is no longer easy to look for work here, to be honest, especially in my field. But, I have decided to do part-time studying as well. It is going to be hectic for me soon! XD But at least I got something to do.
Anyway, enough about me but I want to talk about this wonderful app called Procreate. It is not new, I know but last night, I discovered something about it and from now, I am going to carry my iPad everywhere I go.
I bought the app for RM39.90 ($9.99) and I’ve been practising my drawing. Unfortunately, I stopped for a bit due to the problems I had, looking for a job. Now, with my new job, I do a lot of graphic designing and mostly are just greetings and headers. Last night, I had the opportunity to do a birthday greeting from Juliana and me for my BFF ( @whimsicalparadise )’s Dad. I thought it would have been great to add our signatures to make it personal. I was a wee bit frustrated that I forgot my drawing tablet in the office, so, I thought, maybe I could do it the hard way and just sign on my iPad and then AirDrop my signature to my Macbook. Then edit the signatures from there. TURNS OUT… Procreate has the PSD option. At almost midnight, after being at work the whole day doing graphics work (without my spectacles), I was getting cranky from being tired. But that discovery made me feel happy.
Today though, I was at my computer the whole day doing graphics work. Thank God, it is a public holiday tomorrow. And after tomorrow, I will be flying out to Kuala Lumpur for my first and last Boyzone concert! (And that, is another story I will share once I get things done).
Oh, to all fellow Muslims ( @utara-north being the only one I know now ), I wish you all a wonderful Eid-ul Adha! May the nur (light) of this Eid illuminate your heart, mind, soul and may all your prayers be answered. Ameen.
To all who know me, I miss you guys. I really do but you can find me on Skype and Twitter (same handle – I am not that imaginative where usernames are concerned, so yeah…)
